Prof. Dr. Javier Ordóñez is Professor of International Economics at the Jaume I University in Castellón (Spain). He is President of the Spanish Association of International Economics and Finance (AEEFI). He has taught at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. He has been Assistant Research Professor at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, and has also been a visiting professor at the University of Nottingham, the University of Bologna, the University of California Davis, the University of Paris 13, the Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Sheffield, the University of Adelaida, the Hong-Kong Polytechnic University, and the KDI School of Public Policy and Management, among others. Professor Ordóñez is an external researcher at the Economics Intelligence Research Center (CIIE-UPAEP), a research fellow with the Euro Area Business Cycle Network, and a member of the Econometric Society.
